Turquoise: A Stone of Protection and Timeless Beauty

Turquoise is one of the first ever gemstones to be mined, with beads on record dating back to 5000 B.C. Crusaders discovered this vibrant stone in Turkey.  The name turquoise actually comes from the French word turquois, which means Turkish.
